Lu Ban's legendary book, "The Book of Lu Ban", does not explain carpentry, but describes his cleverly conceived and superbly crafted concealed weapons and killing mechanisms. Lu Ban once made a curse: anyone who reads this book will either lose his wife and widow, or become old and disabled! That's why the book is also called "The Lack of a Gate".
